Alters aren't necessarily as evil as one might think. Also they might not actually be in one's brain if one considers consciousness field/dark matter type theories. There are a fair number of voices speaking of mental technologies around me so I'm for moving alters if they are too close with any type or reliable mind uploading technology. Apparently as an upload the technology works fine as you will have arrived. Also the alters around me seem quite functional mentally so there should be no rush to assume that they are in my brain. Some 'alters' may be human souls, I get lots of voice from people who have apparently been illegally uploaded. Some have no doubt put uploading technology to good use, hopefully mind uploading becomes a public service as there is a large untapped market for immortality services as well. Those that have apparently been illegally uploaded are no doubt interested in virtual computer services and virtual reality services. Many alters are survivors of abuse themselves. Unfortunately, some alters can also commit serious crimes, leaving the host looking responsible. Look.
